It’s just some weeks until the fashionistas and journalists head to Berlin for a week of bustling between shows, parties and champagne receptions - you can now find all the events surrounding Berlin Fashion Week on Yumondo, including their dates and locations. Furthermore you get the chance to win tickets for the shows of Lac et Mel, Suzana Peric and Heiress!

Well, it’s a new year, and here’s one resolution from Yumondo:

To keep providing you with the community, site and service that we can.

We hope that we were able to give you at least some of the stylesharing fun and features that you wanted in 2007. We ran a survey to make sure we were giving you the service, and results there were positive. We also saw good growth over the course of the year, going from 0 to over 6000 members. We had several releases, bringing new functionality and better performance and stability. All in all, it was a big first year for Yumondo!

Santa Claus and the Yumondo Team have invited all members of our community to take part in Yumondo’s Christmas fun to enjoy the Christmas time season together. Several little surprise gifts haven been given away to good boys and girls, namely the most active Yumondo members; recipes for the best eggnog bread pudding have been shared, and dozens of Christmas songs were sung in the group.

But there could only be one winner of the top prize: Olivia! Congratulations! She won the present of her choice, the Vanessa Bruno skirt. Santa’s little helpers Elvin and Elva are now rushing to her home to deliver the gift.

The Overkill Shop, Backspin Magazine and Yumondo have chosen Erica Zerbini from Rome as the winner of our “Open Your Eyes” street art contest. Congratulations!

Erica has contributed lots of wonderful pictures of great pieces of street art. Erica is a writer and posts regularly new pictures of Rome’s street artists at Hellomynameis. We’ve all been really impressed with her entries. The capital of Italy is not only the home of beautiful old architecture and a desirable lifestyle, but Rome also has some amazing street art.
